Wilmington, North Carolina native, Dr. Betty Wade, co-founder and Executive Vise-President of the Wisdom of God Institute, will be the guest speaker for Women’s Day Program at Mount Carmel Missionary Baptist Church on Sunday, August 11, 2007 at 10:00AM.
As oversee of the institute’s Curriculum Instruction, Enrollment Management, grants and scholarship programs, Dr. Wade is a very charismatic leader who have helped fuel the schools continued growth. She has served extensively training biblical counselors, as well as, many other men and women with their assignments for work in the ministry.
With more than twenty-five years experience in higher education, Dr. Wade also serves as a staff administrator with the Finance and Accounting Office at Tennessee State University. She is a very sought after speaker and facilitator and she is the recipient of numerous awards and recognitions for her outstanding work in both the ministry and higher education.
Dr. Wade holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Humanities, a Master’s in Curriculum and Instructions/Minor Adult Education, an Ed.S in Administration Supervision/Higher Education, and a Doctor of Ministry.
Her philosophy has always been to, “pray about everything first, wait next and see what God is going to do; do this before you make a move”. Her commitment to serving God, through her service to the people of God, has been her life’s work.
