Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort is located in Northwest Florida, eight miles east of Destin.

Raven Golf Club at Sandestin is canvassed with marshes, wetlands and pine trees. Robert Trent Jones Jr. designed the course, calling it “a true modern traditional.”

Another renowned course engineer, Rees Jones, oversaw the development of the Burnt Pine Golf Club. Guests are amazed by the scenic beauty of Choctawhatchee Bay lining the course, along with the pine forests and wetlands of the Emerald Coast. Side by side with Sandestin’s Raven Golf Club, it is the only place in the world where Rees and Robert Trent Jones Jr. courses meet.

Course architect Tom Jackson designed the Links Golf Club which has a winding layout against the backdrop of the Baytowne Marina and the Choctawhatchee Bay. The course was designed more than 25 years ago and remains consistently ranked as one of the most challenging and fun courses in Florida.

Baytowne Golf Club sits between the beaches of the Gulf of Mexico and the banks of the Choctawhatchee Bay. The course was renovated in 2005 and takes guests from the beach to the bay.In addition, golfers under the age of 12 receive a free round of golf at Baytowne year round after 12 p.m. when accompanied by a full paying adult. Complimentary kid’s rental sets and kids yardage guides are also provided at Baytowne Golf Club. The Junior Golf Program at Sandestin also extends a half-price discount to golfers 17 years of age or younger during all seasons at Sandestin. This allowance is coupled with the tiered discounts for all golfers playing after prime morning times every day of the week at The Links Golf Club, Baytowne Golf Club and Raven Golf Club.

In addition to golf, Sandestin offers world class tennis on 15 courts. Sandestin offers 15 world-class courts in hard and Hydrogrid clay. Tennis instruction for adults and children is also available. Sandestin also maintains 7.5 miles of top-rated sugar-white sand beach and bayfront property and the 113-slip, full-service Baytowne Marina. The property also features a fitness center, salon and day spa, 19 swimming pools, an 18-hole putting course (The Dunes) and a nature park (Jolee Island).

Recreational activities at Sandestin include beach volleyball, boogie boards, hiking, bicycling, kayaking, catch-release lake fishing, waverunner rentals, pontoon boat rentals, sailing instruction, sailboat rentals, sailing charters, sunset cruises, Solaris dinner cruises, professional golf, tennis and sailing lessons.

For a boating activity, consider climbing aboard the SeaBlaster at Harbor Walk. And for dining and shopping, enjoy strolling at The Village of Baytowne Wharf, a 28-acre pedestrian village filled with more than forty restaurants, shops, boutiques and nightlife venues. Enjoy casual dining at places such as Another Broken Egg Café or fine dining at Marlin Grill. There are plenty of options along with some phenomenal scenic views and fresh seafood. All ages will find something to enjoy, whether a gelato or a cappuccino.

An offsite dining location worth experiencing is Cuvee Bistro. Enjoy some of the finest seafood in the area. Recommended is the Caldoro consisting of mixed Seafood with spicy tomato sauce and fish broth, served with toasted Tuscan bread. Or try the pan seared grouper with cannellini beans and lemon dressing over arugula.

At Sandestin, shoppers will enjoy the boutiques and the specialty retailers at The Village of Baytowne Wharf, Silver Sands Premium Outlets or Grand Boulevard. The Village of Baytowne Wharf features specialty boutiques and retail shops such as Island Clothiers, Coconut Kids and Toys & Treasures, among others. Enjoy Barefoot Princess, the only signature Lilly Pulitzer Store in the area. In addition, guests can shop at two golf shops, a gift shop and the Tennis Shop. Located off-property approximately one mile from Sandestin is the Silver Sands Premium Outlets.
