CLARKSVILLE, Tenn.– On March 29 Dr. Merriel Bullock-Neal will officially announce her candidacy for Montgomery County, Tennessee Juvenile Court Judge. The celebration will take place at The Custom House Museum, located at 200 South Second St. at 1 p.m.
Dr. Merriel Bullock-Neal aspires to become a Juvenile Court Judge to address the many issues confronting the Montgomery County community. When elected, her goals are to be fair and impartial, maintain judiciary independence, exercise both state and federal constitutional obligations to uphold the rule of law, and guarantee due process to both plaintiffs and defendants.
As a general practitioner in the area of civil and criminal law, she has litigated cases in General Sessions Court, Juvenile Court, Circuit Court, Chancery Court, Court of Appeals and US District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee. Additionally, she has served as Guardian ad Litem, Solicitor ad Litem, and a defense attorney in Juvenile Court. She is also licensed as a school psychologist and special educator.
