Also featured are workshops on health, social media, fashion, media access and politics. Formal tea and sandwiches will be served shortly after noon. There will be music, a dramatic presentation of “Hatitude” and the Most Fabulous Hat Contest.

Tickets for $40 for Tea and Conversations can be purchased at www.teaandconversations.com through April 3. After that, tickets are $45. And tickets are $50 at the door.

There is simply no other event like Tea and Conversations with African-American women. It is a chance to meet someone new, reconnect with a colleague and explore new ideas.
