Charlene M. Dewey, M.D., co-director of the Center for Professional Health at Vanderbilt University, was named the Nashville winner of the 2013 ATHENA Award.
Charlene M. Dewey, M.D., serves as co-director for the Center for Professional Health, Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. She is also chairwoman of the Faculty and Physician Wellness Committee and director of the Educator Development Program and member of Vanderbilt’s Academy of Teaching Excellence.
A diplomat of the American Board of Internal Medicine and of the National Board of Medical Examiners she is also a fellow in the American College of Physicians and a member of the Nashville Chapter of the Links, Inc.
Charlene M. Dewey, M.D., serves on several non-profits boards, including All About Women, University School of Nashville, the Baptist Healing Trust and Nashville Public Radio.
