NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The 2nd annual Walk With Your Doctor Day 5k Walk will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at the Ted Rhodes Golf Course located at 1901 Ed Temple Blvd in Nashville, TN. Registration will begin at 8:00 AM with the walk beginning at 9:00 AM.
Dr. Shindana Feagins created the event as a way to have doctors and their patients develop healthy lifestyle choices together. As a physician Dr. Feagins sees countless patients with chronic medical problems, and obesity has been an undeniable culprit in many of these cases. This continues to be a common problem in Tennessee where according to a recent US News World Report, is now the 4th leading state in obesity.
