Young Player to Keep an Eye Out for in the Future
He’s played for Goodpasture since the 5th grade. Leading the team in points as a running back and earning the “Offensive Player of the Year” award in 6th grade. He took a break in 7th grade to completely recover from a knee injury but was still featured as one of the school’s “Dirty Dozen” players to watch and returned this year as a wide receiver. He’s proving to be quite a little defensive player. But running back is his favorite position. Some of his biggest accomplishments off of the football field:
–All A’s (consistently on Honor Roll and Principal’s List)
–Recognized as a Duke University youth scholar in 2014
–Accepted to Vanderbilt’s summer youth academy in 2014
–regularly serves the community through the Black Police Officer’s Association by delivering Thanksgiving and Christmas baskets to needy families each year
–volunteered with United Way and Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church (Madison) for community clean up days.
