MDHA Celebrates the Annual 90-Plus Club

NASHVILLE, TN — The Metropolitan Development and Housing Agency honored a special group of public housing residents today at the 40th annual 90-Plus Club Celebration. The 90-Plus Club is an exclusive group of 13 public housing residents ages 90 and above.

The honorees were joined by their family members for the special event at the Millennium Maxwell House. The celebration included singing, dancing and a presentation of gifts. NewsChannel 5’s Vicki Yates emceed the event.

MDHA owns and operates three high-rise properties which are designated for seniors only

and are home to approximately 443 people age 62 and above. Four high-rise properties are home to more than 659 people who are el- derly or disabled. Many other se- niors reside in other MDHA pub- lic housing properties

The Metropolitan Development and Housing Agency administers a variety of urban and community development projects, works to in- crease the availability of affordable housing, and leads and supports revitalization efforts in downtown and neighborhoods throughout the city.
