Overton’s DeAngelo Holt
Overton High School defensive end DeAngelo Holt announced that he will further his career at East Tennessee State University. Holt recorded 22 sacks as a senior. Holt was a first team all WTNT Metro defensive end this past season.
“I picked ETSU because it is a great school and I can play right away,” said Holt. I will be taking some classes this summer to get a jump on my studies. I have been grinding hard. They want me to play a position called “Buc”. I am excoted to get started.
Holt announced his intention on WTNTribune Radio’s signature sports talk show Bench Press.
